For 2012, Ducati presents a new version of Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP – the Corse Edition. Bringing the Hypermotard concept to a higher level, the Italian company delivers a more hyper than ever ride.
Since extreme riders wanted from Hypermotard more power, more control, more ground clearance, more detail, and less weight, Ducati solved their requirements by giving them all that in the new Corse Edition.

Even if it mechanically resembles with the previous Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP, the new 2012 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP Corse Edition comes with some notable improvements. Among the changes, there are higher ground clearance, higher spec suspension, new seat aesthetics and higher handlebars.

The engine remains the same 1078cc Desmodue Evoluzione engine, delivering 95 hp and 75.9 ft-lb with 7,500 miles as regular service limits.

Unlike the base Hypermotard 1100 EVO, the advanced suspension system includes fully adjustable 50mm Marzocchi forks with a low-friction diamond like coating. The SP version features Ohlins shock at the rear and more ground clearance. Another improvement in comparison to the base Hypermotard is the use of Brembo monobloc calipers for the brakes.

Rendered in red, white and black colors, the Corse Edition reminds of Pikes Peak Edition Multistrada. For the Corse Edition, the rider`s seat is also more comfortable, as the front and rear length is increased.

The price of 2012 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP Corse Edition is $14,495 MSRP, just like the 2011 model. Still, this price does not include TT&L, Freight or PDI charges.
