At last the launch of the 2012 Harley-Davidson XL1200X Forty-Eight 48 has been announced this year, it will be an urban model. The attitude of the bike is all urban and you can tell that from the ballooned tires, the solo seat and all steel peanut tank. What defines this motorcycle are the custom elements: mounted mirrors under the bar, a very low seat of only 26 inches, a peanut tank and wheels that are 16 inches.

The first look of the bike consists of black drag handlebars and under mount mirrors. Since the bike has black drag handlebars the manufacturer created an old school style which means that the rider has to lean forward when driving.

The front and the wheels give the 2012 Harley-Davidson XL1200X Forty-Eight 48 the same visual impact as it did the 1950 Mercury. Because the model has MT90 tire the bike is easier to ride and is gives the rider more stability.

The engine of the bike is legendary, it is known as the Blockhead, and it was first placed on a bike in 1984.This is one element which is specific for Harley Davidson, aside from the company nobody can use this type of engine. The Evolution engine has 1200cc, equipped with aluminum heads and aluminum cylinders which make the bike lighter. If you are a fan of long roads then you should consider buying this bike because it goes well on long roads. Since the front and the back are so low the height of the bike is no more than 26 inches which makes it possible for riders of all sizes to ride it.

As you can see the 2012 Harley-Davidson XL1200X Forty-Eight 48 has all the necessary features needed for a road bike. Since it was made by Harley Davidson you know that you are buying the best. The company makes all its models different in order to keep the costumers coming. We do not know the price yet but we will find out at the launch. What draws people to Harley Davidson is the fact that all the models are unique and offer the best. If you want to buy one all you have to do is wait until next year when you will be able to go in showrooms and test it. The first launch will probably take places in the USA after which the car will expand all over the world.
