Considered the “anti-chrome” Harley model, the Iron 883 is specially made for those riders who prefer tearing up asphalt instead of polishing paint and chrome. No hassles, just blacked-out, back-alley bruiser.

The raw, authentic ride is sustained by a slammed, drag-style handlebar, straight cut, dual shorty mufflers, front fork gaiters, chopped rear fender and solo seat.

There is no doubt the world of Dark Custom motorcycles now has a new member – 2012 Harley-Davidson XL883N Iron 883. Still, this bike takes minimal Dark Custom styling to the limit with its V-Twin beat and old-school garage features.

The blacked-out look captures the pure essence of riding: black powder-coated 883cc engine with black rocker covers, black chopped fenders, black old-school front forks with gators, black cast aluminum wheels, but also black oil tank cover, belt guard and drag bars.

The old-school drag-style handlebar provides a more aggressive riding position, while the classic 3.3 gallon peanut fuel tank follows the line of the bike from front to back. In addition, the latest technology is artfully hidden in order not to compromise the old-school style of Iron 883.
As all Harley-Davidson motorcycles, the fuel tank in hand finished and the premium paint is two times thicker that the competition.

Based on the legendary Evolution engine, 2012 Harley-Davidson XL883N Iron 883 makes it even better. The air-cooled, rubber-mounted 883cc Evolution engine runs hard and provides a smooth ride for thousands of miles. With black powder-coated cylinders, cylinder heads and rocker covers, the engine is all about pure power.

Iron 833 is also characterized by intuitive controls, H-D Smart Security System (optional), low seat and slammed suspension, and mid-mounted controls. Superior performance is delivered by the new Michelin Scorcher Tires.
