2012 Yamaha YZF-R1

Over the last couple of years Yamaha has made quite an impression among bike lovers with its new and improved technology and design. After they won the second time the American Championship for super bikes, Yamaha wanted to create something to remember this glorious moment. This is how the 2012 Yamaha YZF-R1 was born.

The 2012 model comes fully equipped with a lot of upgrades, MotoGP technology and a couple of innovations which are specific for Yamaha. After just one glance at this new model we can tell you sincerely that it would be a success. The 2012 Yamaha YZF-R1 was also designed in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company’s racing experience. Since it is an anniversary model it will be sold in a limited number, only 2000. They will be available in the following colors: red and pearl white.

A lot of modification have been made to this special model, the upper fairing has been revised in such a way that the bike looks more aggressive. Other improvements which were brought to this anniversary model are: new LED positions, new hexagonal caps and to make the rear look sharper the head shields have been modified.

This limited edition bike has red and pearl white livery which were inspired from the two race drivers: Ben Spies and  Jorge Lorenzo who have driven the car at the  Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and the  Motor Speedway in honor of the 50 years which have past since the first time Yamaha participated in a race track.

To make the cars more unique the fuel tank has been engraved with the 50th anniversary and with the number of the model. The engine of the bike has four cylinders with 16 valves, valves which are made by titanium on the inside. The capacity of the engine is of 98 cc.

The frame of the new Yamaha bring a lot of rigidity and stability to the bike. The fork situated in the front is a MotoGP derived which has the damping compression placed on the left of the fork.

This is the new  Yamaha YZF-R1 which will be launched in 2012. We are proud to tell you that this bike will be a success and that it will be very popular among bike lovers. If you are planning to buy one for yourself you have better hurry since there are only 2000 pieces available.
